I'm sorry it's been about...150 years since I've posted anything here, but I just had to say something I'm overwhelmed with joy about. CAN WE PLEASE TALK ABOUT THE AMERICAN APPAREL PETTICOAT?! I'm pretty sure this is the greatest piece of material ever sewn together and mass produced. It's absolutely genius. I stopped in American Apparel today after the Titans game. I picked up my New Year's dress...the sweetheart two toned mini dress in black, a wonderful piece as well. As I walked down the aisle, I felt the ruffles on my arm. I looked, and there it was, in all it's glory. I have been contemplating this purchase for quite sometime, asking questions like
"Am I actually going to where this thing?"
"How can I justify spending $74 on a fluffy skirt?"
Mainly the last one...
I stared at it, for quite a while, debating with myself. I have college to save for, but clothes and fashion are important to me. I swallowed my doubts and took the plunge. I got home and immediately threw it on with just about everything that I own. Now I'm asking myself "Is there anything I can't wear this with?" I'm thinking the answer is no. The possibilities are endless. Crop tops, tank tops, band tees, blazers, jackets, coats, sweaters, over dresses, under dresses, lace, leather, pleather, suede, rayon, tight, flowy, heels, booties, wedges, Jeffrey Campbell, Forever21, fall, summer, winter, spring...etc. I'm telling you, it's endless. I recommend every single female run out and spend $74 on the greatest/most versatile thing to ever be hung in your closet.

MIA
Sorry guys, I know I've been MIA from Youtube lately. I cannot stand editing with Windows Movie Maker anymore. It's so awful. At school we use a really expensive program called Final Cut Pro, it's for MAC only. I'm so used to all the functions and capabilities of FCP, Movie Maker is completely inferior. Either my father is going to buy me a nice one because he really supports my channel and what I'm trying to do on Youtube, or I'm going to have to find another way to get one.
I might try to do a video that doesn't require a lot of editing. Maybe a review on my new Hunter boots, especially because April is right around the corner, lots of rain to come.
Don't forget about me guys, I miss you!

Hunter Boots
I'm a dying for a pair of Hunter Boots. It's been rainy, and snowy, and crappy outside and all I want is something to keep my feet warm and dry. So I'm after these babies:
They're the "Huntress Boot." They're exactly like the classic Hunter boot except they are a little shorter and a bit more roomy in the calf for us athletically built girls, which I am. I'll probably end up getting just the matte black because I'm boring and the Huntress doesn't come in quite as extensive of a rainbow as the classics, plus I'm boring and want something that will match just about everything.
I noticed while doing my shoe collection video for my youtube channel, I don't have a very crazy shoe collection. A few things are off the wall, but as far as color, everything is just about black and brown. I have some sneakers in pastels and a pair of pumps in color, but THAT'S IT. We're going to have to work on that, aren't we. I'll need a little bit of encouragement.
So the price tag on these boots is a little wild. $125 for a pair of rainboots. I'm sure I could find cheaper at Wal*Mart or Target (probably much cheaper), but I feel like these are an investment. The quality is impeccable. I've read just about every one of the 200 something reviews on Zappos.com and I'm pretty impressed. Hopefully these boots will almost out live me.
If you haven't checked it out already, make sure you go and look at my shoe collection video.

RED!
Hey baby dolls. I got my nails done today. I love getting a manicure/pedicure. There was some nail salon drama while I was in there! One of the customers was having a fit. She didn't want her nails done by a woman. She was making a big deal about it. Then her husband walked in and they were both being very loud an obnoxious! I was trying to enjoy my manicure! Rude! Anyways, so I had them paint my finger and toe nails Girls Just Wanna Play by OPI.
That's what it looks like. It's still a winter color, but it's very welcoming of spring, which I'm trying to encourage via my nail color.
So, I've done a little bit of spring shopping. I ordered these to die for shorts on Forever21.
And I got a cute coral circle scarf for a good price as well. I think it was one of those "Fabulous Finds." Those end up really being hit or miss.
I uploaded a new video on YT. It's a collection of Outfit of the Day's. Check it out:

In Chicago
I've been shopping for two days. I went to two different malls and an Ulta. I just wanted to share some great pieces I've found. I've mainly been looking for spring/summer pieces, since winter is almost over with.
At Forever 21, I found a pair of high waisted lace shorts.
They're a great find. They were only $15.80 and are available online, if you're looking for them. These are actually very versatile, season wise. These would look so cute with tights and a band tee (the check out lady at F21 and I discussed this, haha)and some cute booties, or these would look good with bare legs and a white tee.
I wish I could found the amazing trousers online that I found at Charlotte Russe. They were on the $5 rack. They fit me perfectly and they are a light enough material to be worn in the winter or spring. I'll probably feature a whole video around them! A nice fitting pair of trousers is a staple item in every woman's closet. They make going from work to place a cinch! At Charlotte Russe, I also found a pair of brown heeled sandals for the whopping price of $5! I wasn't going to die without them, but I figured they're great sandals, especially for only $5. CR is also having a great deal. All you have to do is like them on Facebook, show them some code, and you receive a free piece of jewelery.
This is what I chose:
I've been meaning to find a bow ring, so I figured why not, it's free and I love rings.
I also went out on a limb and purchased a FUR VEST. I know I know, I'm a wild card! It was only $14.99 at Baker's Shoes, and I couldn't resist. I decided on the light camel-y color. It looked cute with my hair and would go amazingly with black.
So that's a little bit inside my Chicago trip. I'll film a video when I get home. Sorry I wasn't able to film WHILE I was here.

CHI TOWN
I'm leaving for Chicago tomorrow at 8 pm. I'm excited to shop! Chicago has so many more things than my town does. I can't wait to go to an Ulta for the first time. I'm looking forward to checking out some NYX products. I am lusting after Root Beer and a few other shades. Be expecting a haul as soon as I get back.
I'm thinking about filming a video packing for my weekend get away. That should be interesting.
I have a new video up! Check it out honeys!

2011
So this is a new year with new goals and aspirations. I really want to get more fashion videos up on Youtube and work on being more camera friendly, sometimes I'll admit I get a little awkward. I also want to work really hard on finding a job and making some money. I need to be able to support my nasty habit of retail therapy and spending money I know I don't have. I want to work on being more independent.
I have a new video in the works right now. I think I'm going to try to start a mini series on how to wear certain trends and things people think that they're not supposed to wear, but can! My first one is going to be on how to wear black and brown together because you can it looks surprisingly chic.
If you have any suggestions, send me a message on any of these social networking cites, Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, Lookbook, Blogspot.

New Year's Eve
New Year's Eve is approaching quickly (in case you didn't notice). I've been running around for the past week trying to find an outfit suitable for NYE. I was thinking sparkly, flirty, sultry, and fun. I put together a little video to hopefully inspire you to create an awesome NYE glam look. I suggest lace, sequins, glitter, and black. Good luck ladies and STAY WARM!
Some things that inspired me:
OPI Sparkle-Icious
Jimmy Choo Crown Glitter-Covered & Metallic Leather Pumps
Michael Kors Sequined Dress
Sparkly sweets!

How to Wear Tights
I just posted my video on Youtube on how to wear tights. Check it out. I wanted to give my viewers the best insight on five outfits styling tights for different occasions. I wish I had more colored/patterned tights to offer, but sadly I do not. If you want to see more videos from me, leave me comments or messages and I'll try get back to you.

All About Tights.
I told myself I was going to start on my "All About Tights" video, but I'm still trying to get organized. Hopefully I can start tomorrow. In this video I'll be featuring different ways to wear tights. I wish I had some patterned tights, but sadly I do not. Maybe I'll include a picture of patterned tights that I'm lusting after and include pieces I would wear with those.
I really need to get a move on. Maybe I'll do a tag in the mean time.

Date Night.
I got my nails done today! On of my favorite things to do. The color I chose was OPI Ink by OPI.
I went on a date with my boyfriend of 9 months last night. We ate out at a Japanese Hibachi place and then went to see the movie Due Date (would have rather waited to see that when it came out on Netflix/Redbox, but nothing else was out). I thought this outfit out be simple yet sexy. Brandon agreed. I decided to do a smoked out eye look. I used Maybelline's quad in Natural Smokes. I followed the guide lines with the shimmery taupe color all over my lid, shimmery brown on my crease, the matte brown as my outer-v, and the bone/vanilla color as the highlight. On my cheeks I used my Estee Lauder blush in Pink Kiss 02, and on my lips I wore my Covergirl Outlast Lipstain in Everbloom Kiss.

Wishing Well.
This is what I wore to school. It is starting to get colder and this is the perfect outfit to keep warm and still look chic. The royal blue scarf adds a pop of color to this monochromatic look. The boots are very comfortable. They're military inspires, definitely on trend this season.
Also, I started a Youtube channel. I'll be featuring my outfits of the day, hauls, style advice and tips, and maybe some tutorials. Subscribe so you can stay updated.

August
My pink, vintage, lace bloomers. I found them in a friend's grandmother's attic. They're extremely see through and extremely hard to wear. I took on the feat with a plain black tank from Urban Outfitters and black sandals...also from Urban Outfitters. I wore a pair of booty shorts underneath them. (I had them left over from dance) They're black and high rise. This just proves that you can wear your intimates...on the outside. ;)

Mouthful of Diamonds
Good morning, I look so gross. I JUST WOKE UP. I paired a gray tank from Urban, with my red American Apparel skirt. The material is like a wind suit. I love it. I wore my black Ecote sandals. Best sandals I've ever bought. Also, I wore a lime green bra under my tank because I don't care who sees my underthings. It adds an element of "trash" to the outfit. Who doesn't like to look a little trashy sometimes?

Rebelution.
Thanks Lookbook.nu for making adding photos on LB and my blog at the same time MUCH easier. Rachel gave me this shirt. She said it looks weird on her. It comes up really high in the front, low on the sides, and high in the back. Usually, shirts like this don't look good on me because I have wide thighs. This however, because it was so flowy, looked good on me. I really like the nude and the peach, very S/S 10.

Lazy (Dreary) Days.
This is what I wore today. It's nothing special. Just a black dress and leggings and boots (because it was rainy). I threw on the scarf just so I didn't feel so plain. The dress is Silence & Noise from UO. The scarf was a Christmas Gift from Jordan Hooper. I just threw the zip up on because it was slightly chilly tonight. I love those boots! They're my favorites. I can't wait to post what I'm wearing to school tomorrow morning.

"Office."
This nail polish is the best thing that's ever happened to me! It's called "Office" by American Apparel. It's a mimic of the jade Chanel put out not too long ago. I tried to find a bottle of the Chanel stuff, but it was limited edition, and I couldn't find it anywhere! This is definitely just as awesome but twice as cheap!
